Welcome to Filmacnova, a blog that started as a website but is destined to become something much bigger.

I envision it growing into a dynamic ecosystem—connecting through social media, and perhaps one day, expanding into a YouTube channel.

I created this platform as a way to document my journey toward becoming a worthy representative of filmmaking and photography in my home country—Mexico.

It’s a pleasure to share the knowledge I’ve gathered so far, and to highlight updates in the audiovisual field that young creators often overlook.

This blog won’t just focus on technical content like cameras, techniques, and composition.

I’ve included a section called "Inspiration", where—thanks to technological advances—English-speaking audiences can now discover incredible creators from the Spanish-speaking world, including Latin America and Spain who were previously overlooked due to language barriers.

I'm on a mission to transform the way creators approach filmmaking and photography. Rather than focusing on one aspect alone, I aim to combine technical knowledge, practical tips, and cultural inspiration to make the creative journey more accessible and rewarding. My goal is to connect English-speaking audiences with voices from the Spanish-speaking world, including Latin America and Spain, while providing tools and insights that help artists and enthusiasts refine their knowledge and expand their vision.

Our team

Filmacnova is currently led by me, Alberto, as a solo creator. While it remains a personal project, the vision is to nurture a growing community of filmmakers and photography enthusiasts who can connect, learn, and inspire each other. The heart of this project is community, giving voice to creators across the Spanish-speaking world, including Latin America and Spain, so that Filmacnova feels bigger than one person.
